Masquerade: A party, dance, or other festive gathering of persons wearing masks and other disguises, and often elegant, historical, or fantastic costumes.
Get dolled up for the Diamond Masquerade: A Mardi Gras Gala presented by the Steffen Thomas Museum of Art, which will take place on Saturday, February 25 at Merchants Hall in Downtown Madison.
What better way to support your local museum than with a party? Not just any party but a Diamond Masquerade! Fantastic costumes are not required but are definitely encouraged at this black tie optional event.
Those in attendance will listen to the dazzling sounds of The Atlanta Seventeen Big Band while enjoying delicious New Orleans Cuisine from the Washington Grass Inn.
Tickets for this event are limited (and advance purchase is required) so hurry and get yours here. If you plan on attending with a group of friends be sure to reserve your own table.
With a complementary wine and beer bar and enough King Cake to appease Marie Antoinette (who might be making a guest appearance) don’t miss this night!
Pull together your perfect Gala ensemble and prepare for a night of Mardi Gras magic with the Steffen Thomas Museum!
The Gala will be from 7:00 – 10:00 PM and those attending will receive a special rate at the James Madison which is just steps from the venue.
